<p>The downward dog pose has numerous health benefits, as it is said to help those who have asthma, sciatica, and high blood pressure. However, it is not recommended that you venture to get into the downward dog position if you are suffering from Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and/or currently have any shoulder, wrist, back, or neck injuries.</p>
<p>The downward dog asana has benefis from head to toe, but focusing just on the head, the benefits are exceptional. Your head and mind can become clear while practicing this inverted yoga pose because it allows you to focus on your breathing while the lungs and sinuses are opened. Allergies and sinus symptoms are reported to be diminished with practicing the downward dog pose because it allows your sinuses to flow better.
